  My Brother Needed Blood...

  a bit of history, my brother has completely faded and has been out for many years now.

  he has been smoking cigarettes, playing golf and going target shooting with worldly friends and workmates, and having joyful relations with as many women as he can.

  he got sick and they had to amputate about half of his foot.

  this is a really irritating text that i received from an old jw acquaintance.. .

  i would like to tell you that the latest book we received 'keep yourselves in god's love', says that jw have to strictly avoid someone disfellowshipped.

  the same applies to someone who left organization.

  As I was leaving the Org, I explained to my 'friends' the reasons for my leaving and how wrong I thought the Society was on most things, including shunning. It didn't matter what I said, or how I explained it. They were adamant I was wrong to leave. There is no getting through to them as they are zoned out and completely brainwashed.
  
  Maybe some will realize in the future. Right now, however, they have fallen for the WT propaganda. Best thing I can do is move on, make new friends. I've started doing this. I'm tired of hearing their nonsense.
  
  I will be sharing your responses here with my sons, as I can't give up on them.

  I would like to tell you that the latest book we received 'keep yourselves in God's Love', says that JW have to strictly avoid someone disfellowshipped. The same applies to someone who left Organization. Therefore brothers and sisters are your friends but won't talk to you unless you take steps to return to Jehovah's people. You were the ones who broke ties with spiritual family. Brothers and sisters show loyalty to Jehovah not being your friends.
  I knew there was no point in arguing, so I just replied by saying .... Goodbye x

  Trying to leave the Witnesses is like trying to leave the Mafia = Death!

  if you try to leave the mafia in italy they will hunt you down and kill you, there is no way you can quit and just walk away, you need to go into hiding always looking over your shoulder.

  it's the same with witnesses, you can't just quit, you need to be disfellowshiped and punished....and you'll always be worried looking over your shoulder even if you go into hiding.

  You are so right. This girl is so deluded. She is a zealot like born in, who can not think outside of the WT. She is not covering up at all. I think she will 'hang her self', as she is now the only JW amongst the staff. She'll probably say, she's being persecuted by Satan's apostate.

  That's very true. I have been shunned by my old 'friends' and at work there is an ex pioneer partner who is shunning me. As we work in the same school it is very difficult not to say hi, as professionally, it's expected. I say Hi, she says nothing. It happens every time; her face looking mean and spiteful. She then greets the person next to her in a very friendly way. Some of my colleagues are starting to notice. I am surprised, she doesn't realize what a bad 'witness' this is.
  
  Also, my husband, who is a guitar teacher is having trouble at work. He works for a former JW 'friend' who is the music coordinator at the primary school that he works at. She is shunning us, so we wondered how she would behave when the new school term begun. Well, we were right to wonder. she has now employed another guitar teacher to teach guitar and decreased my husbands lessons. My husband was not informed by her. She actually told the new guitar teacher, who my husband didn't even know, to tell him. We are waiting to see what happens next. We feel she will be formulating a way of constructively dismissing him.
  
  So, we are being punished for leaving. They can't just let us go in peace.

  today i decided to visit a friend of mine who i met when she was my study.

  (she has no intentions of making a commitment, but still continues studying with old pioneer 'friends' of mine.

  well it just so happens that these 2 sisters were there.

  'I'm amazed that some Jehovah's Witnesses deny that they shun former members.'
  
  Their recent articles on Official JW Web, shows they are now VERY bare faced! on shunning.
  
  
  
  
  
  I thought they could have just said,Hello! it was so unnecessary. Also their faces looked so mean! These are ladies I have never had a cross word with. Stepping out of the Tower, I could really see how brainwashed they were.It was like they were possessed!
